QUAVA HEC 15B, a hydroxy ethyl cellulose is a non-ionic cellulose ether. It is easily dispersed and dissolved in water. It is used as a thickener, rheology modifier, protective colloid, water retention agent, stabilizer and suspending agent, particularly in those applications where a non-ionic material is desired. It is resistant to microbiological degradation caused by enzyme contamination.
