Lithographic gloss ink
ELFTEX 415 specialty carbon black is a neutral tone carbon black with low vehicle demand and good color strength. It is used primarily in lithographic gloss ink applications where good color strength and high gloss are required. Because of its low vehicle demand, it is particularly well suited for applications where a highly loaded base is desired.

Liquid inks
ELFTEX 415 specialty carbon black is also suitable for use in liquid inks requiring high gloss and low viscosity.
The dispersibility of ELFTEX 415 specialty carbon black depends on the equipment used and the formulation. A product with similar morphology, ELFTEX 410 pigment black, is available in an easier to handle pelleted form.
