MONARCH 430 is a general purpose low structure pigment black suitable for a variety of applications. Particularly suitable for web offset coldset and letterpress printing inks plus a broad field of liquid ink applications. Printing Inks

MONARCH 430 is a low structure utility pigment black that is broadly applicable in a variety of inks. Particularly suitable for web offset coldset and letterpress printing inks plus a broad field of liquid ink applications. It provides excellent rub resistance, good viscosity and flow properties while maintaining ease of dispersion.

Other Applications

This product is commonly used also in Friction Products, in Adhesives & Sealants, and as a pigment in General Dispersions and Leather Colorants.

The dispersibility of MONARCH 430 pigment black depends on the equipment used and the formulation. Due to its low structure, MONARCH 430 is harder to disperse than other fluffy products in the regular color range.

The typical bulk density of this powdered carbon black is 320 kg/m3 .
